Snowflake Challenge 2020, Day 1

I did the Snowflake Challenge two years ago and it was a lot of fun. So, I think it's time to do it again, and hopefully it will get me posting more, at least for the short term.

Hi, I'm Shivver. By day, I work as a software quality assurance analyst for a small development studio in Oregon. I am happily married, and spend my free time playing computer games, writing fanfic, and learning calligraphy. By night, I am a devoted fan of Doctor Who (across the classic and modern series as well as the expanded universe), though more recently Good Omens has taken over my life - this might change very soon as the new DW season premiered today.

Other fandoms that I dabble in, though not to the extent that I write fanfic for them: Star Trek TNG, Marvel (cinematic and comics), Stargate, Harry Potter, The Sandman, The Reckoners

Oh, cool! I do enjoy people doing the snowflake_challenge! (I did it last year, so I'm wavering as to whether I want to do it again or skip a year, although the every other day thing is helpful.)

I didn't do it last year, I don't remember why, but I just went back and read through my 2018 one and it was cool to see what I was thinking back then. (There was one that said, "What would you like to accomplish this year, and I was pleased to see that over the last two years, I did most of it!) The differences are greater because it's been two years, but on the other hand, having a yearly checkpoint is really nice.

Hi! TNG would probably be my third biggest fandom after DW and Good Omens. My husband and I just watched through the entire run again, over the last half year or so, and it was awesome. That show is just so good.

I agree - TNG had so many awesome moments and episodes!

Good Omens totally took over my life this summer and fall, though it's since faded into the background a bit at this point.

Me too! I think I've seen it probably fifteen to twenty times now, but I was just complaining to my husband that I haven't watched it in probably a month. :( Doctor Who is taking back over my life, but Aziraphale and Crowley are rarely far from my thoughts.

Good Omens was such a good show! I'm not deep into the fandom (ie, I don't have the inclination to write and only read a little bit); I mostly reblog the lovely art and pretty gifsets, but it makes me feel good to see Aziraphale's smile and the way Crowley looks at him. *g*
