'Tis the Season

I'm not much of a Christmas celebrant (though I'm also not a Donna, with her "I hate Christmas"), but I figured, why not repost my Doctor Who Christmas carols? Here's the full list: http://shivver13.livejournal.com/39992.html

Should I post them to dwfiction or doctorwho? I've already posted them once to dwfiction, two years ago, and I don't know if I'm allowed to repeat.

I'm not at all (Chanukah instead), but I sure enjoy these!

And this year, the first day of Chanukah is the same, so everyone enjoy whichever holiday you celebrate!

Happy Chanukah! We celebrate "Stay Home from Work and Veg". It's a great holiday, but the traditional greeting is a bit of a mouthful. We've shortened it to "Meh." ;)

Thanks! :) My favorite is also What Doctor Is This - the Victorian tune and melancholy air really matched the episode. These were really fun to write.

Brilliant songs! I think my favourite is A Christmas Cruise and the fact that Voyage of the Damned is my favourite Doctor Who Christmas special may or my not be relevant here :) Tenth Doctor's song is so sad, yet true. We must remember he had good days, too, and he died to save his friend, that's something. I love how you ended Fourth Doctor's song. From what I heard, he was "the ultimate Doctor" for many people, as I think David is for many people today.

Which reminds me, it's time for our traditional viewing of all the specials. Life has been so busy that I hadn't even thought about it until now. My favorite of the Christmas specials is "The Runaway Bride", but after that, I love all of them except "The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe" and both of Twelve's.

I keep forgetting that Ten's song is so sad. Every so often I read these through and I get to Ten's and it's like someone's punching me in the stomach. They were supposed to happy and fun!

Now those Daleks are perfect!! I have to show that image to my husband - he will love it. (He's such a Dalek fanboy.)
