When I was in line to get an autograph from Colin Baker, the person in front of me was wearing his very well-tailored blue-frock-coat-Six cosplay. It was absolutely gorgeous, and it was great watching him show off his handiwork to CB. He asked CB to sign the coat, which he did on the inner lining with a silver sharpie.

Well, apparently, I was so engrossed in watching that that I wasn't watching Colin Baker. My husband says that he saw that CB was coughing and rubbing his nose, and his handler handed him a pack of individually wrapped tablets, which CB claimed was candy but looked suspiciously like cough drops. Which means...

I was infected by a Doctor!!!

Okay, heading back to bed now...

How are you?

LOL!! And by SIX. If it is going to happen, better to be infected by a Doctor...than a Dalek

(I'm still half asleep. I have excuses for making no sense, lol!!)

*HUGS*

Of all the things to happen... infected by a Doctor, wow!

Well, I hope you're feeling better (CB, too) soon!

That's my story and I'm sticking with it! :D Thanks very much - I am doing fine now, though the cough is lingering.

Have you eaten your apples? You know what they say, "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away!"

Well, that's if you want to do that...

Glad to hear you're doing better; those coughs can go on for a very long time!

My friends have pointed out that now that I've gotten my cricket ball signed by DT and PD, I need a new life aspiration. They have suggested that I catch'em all - collect cold viruses from all existing Doctors...

Hmm.... now how does one go about trying to catch cold viruses from all living Doctors? I personally wouldn't exactly want to aspire to that particular task!

I shall start with Doctor #10, and I am not averse to attempting this multiple times with him! ;)

LOL
I guess getting ill after a convention is inevitable. There are just too many people in one place together. Someone is bound to be ill. Which is probably where the “No hugs and kisses” rule is coming from. Which apparently doesn’t apply when you are a baby. Give those guys a baby and they are hugging and kissing all over it LOL

I wonder if this would be the right place to mention that Colin Baker was in an episode of my new favorite series “Star Trek Continues” ;) It is, in short, a very well done fan production, telling more adventures with Kirk and Spock and the original Enterprise (they have re-built all the sets) and they have an occasional guest star. At every convention “Captain” Vic Mignogna attends, he collects addresses and telephone numbers of interested stars and I guess that’s how Colin became a part of it. I love him in this role. If you don’t want to watch the whole episode, I can at least recommend the funny outtakes special with a special surprise guest that cracks me up all the time:
