Answer for question 4588.
Jan. 9th, 2016 01:18 am[Error: unknown template qotd]I already have: I met David Tennant last year, just for a few seconds. I told him that his performances as the Doctor and Alec Hardy inspired me and changed my life, though I didn't have the time to tell him how. I would love the chance to tell him the rest of that, that the Doctor inspired me to start writing and to chase my dream of traveling to see the world, and that Alec Hardy reminds me how important it is to stick to your beliefs, to not compromise them just to make your life easier.
If I could name a second person, it would be Richard Feynman, who has been my hero since I was in my teens - the brilliant dedicated scientist and logician. I've been in the same room with him a couple of times, but didn't get a chance to talk to him. I'm not sure what I would say, though I think I would ask him to explain an advanced physics concept to me, as that's one of the things he was known for, his skill at teaching and explaining difficult concepts in lay terms.

He definitely thought on a higher plane than us regular humans and advanced quantum physics in giant steps, but it's a lot more than that. He was inquisitive about everything and had this penchant for life, for experiencing everything he could. He'd do things that his peers would consider dangerous or beneath them or just stupid, because he wanted to see how it worked or how it would come out.
