Thoughts?

So, as I was talking to a friend of mine about these AU fics I've written that no one else has read, she suggested I post them anyway. I declined that, because I don't want to officially go AU from The Actor, as it's my favorite and probably best work. Then she said, "Why don't you post it somewhere small and private?" And I immediately thought, why not LJ? This is the place where there's a nice little community, very focused on writing and DW.

So, the question is, anyone interested in reading any of these AU works? There's nine in all, some small and some rather long. I don't care if you don't read all of them, but if you're interested in one or a couple or whatever, let me know and I'll take the time to put them all up in a bunch of backdated entries, and I'll even organize them and explain them (they take place in various storylines and timelines), as well as summarize The Actor for those of you who haven't read it. It might take a while - a couple of them really need some work, and I might condense two of them into one story - and one of them is honestly not very good. But a couple of them are rather fun.

Anyway, let me know. :)

Oh, yes! I love what you write, so I would like to see these. "The Actor" was indeed a phenomenal story, well-crafted and the characters were three-dimensional. You really felt for them.

Why thank you! :) I'll start working on getting them up soon. I'm a little apprehensive about having people read them, as some of them push the envelope of what I feel are the limits of believability. It's hard to explain what I mean. I think I sometimes go a little too far in the mystical/psychic direction for DW. Ah well, we'll see.

Yes, I completely understand! I have a problem trying to get into reading long fics, just because I don't have the time to devote. My plan is to post the longer fics chapter by chapter, and then a summary of them for anyone who wants to read the shorter ones but need the context of the longer ones. I've already posted a summary of The Actor to start off (though, to be honest, if there's any of my long fics to read, rather than just the summary, that's the one).
