I wrote "And He's Wonderful" near the very end of last year, and I've never been really happy with it. It doesn't sit right with me. It's a little preachy - the kind of in-your-face emotion/morality that really bugs me when I see it in any show or book. Also, while posting it here now, I can see that the middle of it is completely devoid of description. Too much straight dialogue. There are a lot of sentences that really need rewording.

I do love the idea, though. "Human Nature"/"Family of Blood" is my absolute favorite Doctor Who episode, and it's pretty evident in the amount of fanfic that I've written about it (most of it not yet posted here), especially considering that The Actor is completely based on the concept of the chameleon arch. Tim is a fascinating character, and supposedly his response to Hutchinson's "You filthy coward!" - "Yes, sir, every time!" - is supposed to mirror the Doctor's choice to be considered a coward when asked by the Dalek Emperor, because Tim has a little bit of the Doctor in him.

Perhaps I'll return to this idea again someday, either to rewrite or rejigger this piece.
