That "genetic transfer" thing. He knows that it's not something that two people who just met do and that it can be taken the wrong way, but he doesn't *get* it. He's missing that level of understanding, which is of course understandable as he's not human, but it certainly can get him into a lot of trouble, and make him hurt people he cares about.
