A novel way to read
Nov. 6th, 2024 03:22 pmI'm not going to comment on the news of the day. I've already spent the day pretty upset, so why continue that here?
Instead, for your entertainment:
My husband has been waiting eagerly for book 7 in one of his favorite series, Dungeon Crawler Carl, which people say is the best LitRPG around. The author self-published books 1-6 but just got a publishing deal (because of the phenomenal success of the previous books), and so book 7 is his first traditionally-published book.
My husband only reads digitally now and the digital version is not ready yet, but the print version has just been distributed. The book starts on page 352. Yes, you read that right. Page 352. You start on page 352 and read backwards to page 1, then go to page 353 and read forward to the end.
No, the author says, it's not a gimmick he made up for the book. It's a printing error. I'm starting to wonder just how established and reputable this publisher is. :)
