Gallifrey One 2024: Paul Cornell's Writing Workshop

One of the most interesting events at Gallifrey One was a writing workshop given by Paul Cornell. It actually wasn’t much of a workshop. Apparently, Paul is working on a “how to write” book and wanted to present some of his material, so he held this event and basically talked about topics listed on his phone - there wasn’t any back-and-forth between him and the audience or things for the audience to do, like you’d expect in a “workshop”. However, he discussed a lot of ideas that I wanted to get down, and thus this post.

Apologies for any jerkiness or disconnect in this writing. The presentation was very off the cuff and thus my notes jump around and I’m not going to try to organize this.
