I suspect he has a difficult time with social cues regarding gender specific issues. He's naturally friendly and gorgeous, so women read what they will of it. He also tends to like physical contact and has no clue about personal space/boundaries. Plus, there's that added "genetic transfer," which did not need to be quite so thorough, I'm sure.... That version of him was just made for women to adore, I guess!
